Trans Liberation Basketball League

We are a community ran basketball league for trans and gender-nonconforming people in Atlanta. We have organized teams, schedules, playoffs and officiating.

Our League is inspired by the stopcopcity movement. Major goals of this project are to build community and connections and empower movements. This is a community project and is shaped by community needs, ideas and participation. We have no leadership team, we make collective decisions and everyone is an organizer

we have a causal and competitive league so there is space for you no matter your experience

If you have a skill or interest and want to contribute you can in so many ways!

player, medic, scorekeeper, ref, cheerleader, photographer, graphic designer, equipment and game manager

even if you are not trans you can participate by watching and cheering at games, flyering or tabling for a cause, whatever you want!

Whatever you want to do, this is space where you can practice organizing and making things happen
